K&E 4246 ----- Pantograph Polar Plainimeter

From the collection of John Eggers

This instrument is unique in that it is a combination of a planimeter and a pantograph effectively having two ranges when used as a planimeter. One tracing point is idealized for large objects while the other can be used for smaller circles. Replacing one of the points with a pencil point makes the instrument a pantograph.
