TM 6-240

• Field Artillery Military Slide Rule, War Department Technical Manual, TM 6-240 - 1945 - This instruction manual is for a special slide rule for use by the military for artillery calculations. Some samples of this slide rule are marked with the K&E logo and others with American Blueprint Co. name. The construction of the rule is definitely K&E style.

Special Manuals and Addendums

• The DI Scale - 1953 - This addendum was intended for use with the N4080-3 and N4081-3 manuals. The DI scale was added back to the Log Log Duplex Trig and Decitrig (4080-3 & 4081-3) slide rules in 1953. This new scale set was first shown in the 1954 catalog.
• The SRT Scale - 1955 - The SRT scale was subsituted for the ST scale on the Log Log Duplex Decitrig (4081-3), the Log Log Duplex Vector (4083-3)and the Polyphase Duplex Decitrig (4071-3) slide rules in 1956. This new scale was first shown in the soft bound catalog edition in late 1955.
